The West, with the full name of the Southwest, is the Mekong Delta, in the southern region of the S-shaped strip of land.

Therefore, the West has long been an ideal destination for tourists to immerse themselves in nature, and experience moments of rest and relaxation after busy working days, tired in the noisy city, crowded.

When is the best time?

The southwestern region has a climate divided into two distinct seasons, the rainy season and the dry season, with relatively mild weather. Each season has its own beauty and characteristics. so you can visit the West at any time of the year. However, according to my own self-sufficient Western travel experience, the ideal time to explore the West is around March to May and September to November.

· From May to August is the time when fruit gardens enter the harvest. For those who love nature, and fruit and want to harvest, this is the right time.

· From September to November, the West is in the flood season. Water from the upper Mekong River overflows to the two provinces of Dong Thap and An Giang

typical natural scenery of the flood season with a lot of fish and shrimp. This is also an ideal travel time that many tourists love.

· Also from December to the first months of the following year - popped up at the end of the year and the beginning of the year, the West wears a spring coat with colorful flowers. There are famous flower villages such as Tan Quy Dong flower village (Sa Dec), and Phuoc Thinh apricot village (Vinh Long), ... Besides, there are many cultural customs, and special festivals to celebrate the new year. takes place.

Transport:

Western tourism has many types of means. Depending on your geographic location, conditions, and preferences, you can choose a suitable vehicle. During my last trip, I chose the means of aircraft. Starting from Cam Ranh International Airport (Khanh Hoa) at 15h to Can Tho International Airport at 16h. It only took 1 hour, we were present in Can Tho. After that, our group temporarily book the car to go to the hotel that we already booked. That is TTC Hotel Can Tho (4-star hotel)

But you can choose another means of transportation for your trip:

· Passenger car: This vehicle is quite popular because of its convenience and there are many garages for you to choose from. You can go to the western bus station in Binh Tan district, Ho Chi Minh City to buy tickets to the western provinces.

· Motorbike: Traveling in the West, self-sufficient by motorbike, is popular with many people, especially young people who have a hobby of "phoning" This way, you can explore many nooks and crannies during the journey and flexible time so it is very convenient.

Attractive tourist attractions:

NIGHT DAY 1:Time has turned into the evening, so our group temporarily dine at the hotel. The restaurant menu is very rich, diverse, and full of nutrients. After that, our group was free to visit Ninh Kieu Ben at night. The landscape is very beautiful, poetic, and charming.

Morning (1st day): The first point in this tour is Cai Rang Floating Market.

If you go crowded, you can rent a private boat. Because our group also has 10 people, our group will rent a private boat, with our own bargain, our group has been able to rent a boat for 400,000 VND. Generally, it takes about 30 minutes to take a boat ride from the wharf to Cai Rang floating market - one of the crowded markets in the Mekong Delta. Certainly, you will also have the same overwhelming excitement as me when immersed in the vibrant business atmosphere of the people in the river.

Cai Rang Floating Market (Can Tho): has long been a special tourist attraction of the Mekong Delta in general and Can Tho city in particular. The floating market has attracted many domestic and foreign tourists and has been voted one of the 10 most impressive markets in the world by the British travel magazine Rough Guide.

Sitting on the boat, enjoying the typical dishes here, we are very excited and excited. Everyone has their own beautiful photos to save this memorable and memorable moment. Eating fruit here is fine, so delicious, but also cheap. After a relaxing morning at Cai Rang Floating Market. My group temporarily broke up with the Floating market to go to the next destination!

By this time it was already 9 o'clock. We started to rent a motorbike to move to My Khanh Ecotourism Area. The price when renting a motorbike is also quite cheap compared to my pocket, 100,000 VND / day, we rent it for 4 days (400,000 VND). From Ninh Kieu Wharf to My Khanh Tourist Area, it takes about 30 minutes, because we are not familiar with the road and want to visit the road, so we also take a lot of time to travel.

At 10 am, we arrived at My Khanh Tourist Area. With a spacious and green campus, My Khanh tourist area has a harmonious layout with heavy fruit gardens, ancient southern houses, interspersed beside fish ponds, and bold canals. The quality of the river is also very convenient for organizing many interesting tourism activities.

It is also time for lunch, so we temporarily dine at the resort's restaurant for convenience. The food here is also quite delicious, typical of the southwestern region, the price is reasonable, consistent with the quality that the restaurant brings.

Menu:

Grilled snakehead fish.

- Crocodile stir-fried.

- Red tilapia hotpot cooked.

- Meat warehouse eggs.

- Stir-fried beef mixed.

- Boiled vegetables mixed with duck seeds.

- Rice, iced tea, dessert fruit, cold towel

Afternoon (1st day): After finishing the meal, with our youthful strength, there is no need to rest much. Our team participates in many entertaining, team-based games, such as fishing ditch show, shaking bridge, outdoor games, and love bridge, .. very wonderful and comfortable, relaxing there you guys. It's a pity to come here without participating in these games.

In the tourist area, we can visit the orchards, depending on the season that there are fruits. When we left, there was rambutan, longan, jackfruit, ... everything was delicious.

Playing is also played, there are many memories saved. We left the tourist area to move to An Giang. It took us 3 hours to reach An Giang.

Evening (first day): It is 18 o'clock. We were in An Giang, and for the convenience of transportation, we checked in Hue Binh Hotel (Vinh Tay 2- Nui Sam - Chau Doc).

Tonight, we are free to visit and enjoy the specialties of Chau Doc city at night. Since we rented motorbikes in Can Tho for many days, we prefer to ride motorbikes to explore everything more.

We visit, take pictures at 30/4 Park, Chau Doc night market. Referring to Chau Doc, we cannot help but mention " Mam" - a city called " Fish Kingdom" Since the time is too long, we cannot buy fish sauce to take home, so we can only enjoy it while here.

We enjoy snakehead fish vermicelli, melancholy salad, jaggery beefcake, and ni boi rice. Having spent time coming here, we cannot miss these specialties. By 11 pm, we went back to the hotel to rest.

Morning (day 2): At 7:00 we start to have the breakfast buffet at the hotel and check out procedures.

After that, at 8:30 we started to go to Ba Chua Xu Temple - known as a spiritual tourist destination in the West in general and An Giang province in particular. It only took us 10 minutes by motorbike, since it is close to the hotel, it was not difficult to find the way.

The entrance fee is also very cheap, only 20,000 VND / person. Coming here, we visit and pray, and the charming landscape helps us feel more comfortable and relaxed. By 11 am, our stomach is already hungry so we go to Van Huong Mai Restaurant (located near Lady Temple always). The price here is also reasonable, the food is delicious, and the price is suitable with the quality of the dish that the restaurant brings, so you can rest assured if you visit!

Afternoon (2nd day): Following that, it's also 13pm, so we moved to Hang Pagoda. It took us 30 minutes to get here, a temple that is both ancient, both scenic, and a national monument. Coming here is like getting rid of all the troubles of life. We are comfortable and relaxed in this tranquil space.

Young people, but still young go. We moved to Tra Su Tram Forest again. Going to An Giang without going to Forest Tram is a pity. It took us 30 minutes to get here. Since we can travel with 10 people, the ticket price is also more preferential, only 95,000 VND / person. Ticket prices are accompanied by quality. The landscape here is beautiful, and the water waves mingle with the cajuput leaves, creating a very poetic scene. Come here and take pictures, it's so beautiful, living virtually comfortably Because it is very beautiful and wide, it took us quite a lot of time.

At 3 o' clock, we took the opportunity to move to Tra Vinh. It took us 4 hours to reach Tra Vinh.

Evening (Monday day): At 7:00 p.m., we checked in at Thanh Tra Hotel. Since the time is late, we just go to Dinner and go back to the hotel to rest.

Morning (3rd day): we have breakfast at the hotel and check out. At 8:30 we move to visit

Tra Vinh - known as the land of the Pagoda. Here, there are many temples with unique and new architecture, attracting many tourists

We went to Vam Ray Pagoda - the largest Khmer temple in Vietnam. It took us 40 minutes to reach the temple

With that unique architecture, we have helped our team get extremely beautiful photos. It looks like we are in Thailand. At 11 am, we move to the restaurant for lunch.

After lunch, at 2:00 we finished the trip and returned to Can Tho

Afternoon (3rd day): It takes us 2 hours to get back to Ninh Kieu Pier in Can Tho.

Evening (3rd day): Arrive in Can Tho at 16:00. We checked in at TTC Can Tho hotel and had dinner at the hotel

After that, it was also the last night, so we enjoyed walking around Can Tho Night Market.

Morning (4th day): We have a buffet breakfast at the hotel and check-out procedures.

We take advantage to buy souvenirs for relatives.

After that, we return the motorbike for rent and book the car to move to Can Tho airport.

At 11 am, we were at the airport and boarded the plane back to Cam Ranh International Airport.
