During the restructuring of its business and enhancement of competitiveness, Asia Cooperative is gradually expanding its operations towards a multi-sector direction, with technology-based transportation and green transportation as the foundation for long-term development.
In addition to services such as registering technology-based vehicles, issuing contract vehicle permits, installing vehicle tracking devices, insurance, and completing transportation business documents, Asia Cooperative is implementing the "Trade in your old gasoline car for a new VinFast electric car" program.
This program is for cooperative members, technology-based drivers, owners of transportation businesses, and customers who wish to switch vehicles. This is one of the practical activities aimed at saving energy, reducing emissions, and promoting the use of environmentally friendly vehicles in Vietnam.
Responding to the Government's Green Transportation Development Roadmap
Vietnam is aiming to develop a green transportation system and bring net greenhouse gas emissions to "zero" by 2050.
According to Decision No. 876/QD-TTg dated July 22, 2022, of the Prime Minister, Vietnam is promoting the conversion of transportation vehicles to electric and green energy. According to the roadmap, from 2030, 100% of taxis that are replaced or newly invested in will use electricity or green energy.
In response to this policy, Asia Cooperative is gradually building a green technology transportation ecosystem, accompanying members and drivers in the process of converting from fossil fuel vehicles to electric vehicles.
The "Trade in your old gasoline car – Exchange for a new VinFast electric car" program
Asia Cooperative receives requests and supports customers in converting their vehicles on a case-by-case basis:
Receiving information on old gasoline cars currently in use.
Support in checking and connecting with buyers, and appraising vehicles.
Advice on VinFast electric vehicle models suitable for your needs and budget.
Updates on VinFast's sales policies, subsidies, and promotions at the time of purchase.
Assistance in choosing financing options for purchasing or leasing VinFast electric vehicles.
Guidance on procedures for buying, selling, transferring ownership, and registering the vehicle.
Assistance in completing the necessary documents to operate the vehicle for transportation business.
The trade-in value of used gasoline vehicles and the incentives for purchasing new electric vehicles depend on the brand, model, year, mileage, condition of the vehicle, and applicable policies at the time.
Benefits of switching from gasoline to electric vehicles:
**Cost savings**
Electric vehicles can help users reduce energy costs and some routine maintenance expenses because they do not use internal combustion engines.
Actual savings depend on the vehicle model, mileage, electricity prices, charging habits, and operating conditions. For frequent ride-hailing drivers, choosing a vehicle with reasonable operating costs can contribute to improved business efficiency.
Contributing to reduced emissions
Electric vehicles do not emit direct exhaust fumes during operation, contributing to improved air quality in urban areas and moving towards a greener, cleaner transportation environment.
Receiving advice on suitable financial options
Asia Cooperative supports customers in exploring various conversion options:
Selling old gasoline vehicles to offset the cost of purchasing new electric vehicles.
Taking loans from banks or financial institutions.
Leasing electric vehicles from Asia Cooperative for service operation.

Each option is considered based on the intended use, financial capacity, and expected operational efficiency of the customer.
Supporting Drivers in Bringing Electric Vehicles into Transportation Business
After customers receive their new electric vehicles, Asia Cooperative continues to support them in completing the necessary procedures for the vehicles to participate in transportation business activities according to regulations.
